A Misty Sunrise at Corinna

Sunrise at Corinna in the majestic Tarkine region. I got up early for sunrise over the Pieman River, and when I got there it was 100% mist. I thought there could be potential as the sun burnt off the mist, so I braved the chilly morning. So peaceful, so tranquil - just me and the wallabies left to breathe in the purest air in the world!

a belated thanks Phillip, I am still very much getting a handle on how to communicate with people here. I look forward to seeing more of your work too.

I love mornings like that. I had a similar one at Lake Lea , in the Vale of Belvoir, when the image 'Mystique' was taken. The only person there, camped by the lake, on a still misty morning with only a small gap in the mist (about 60 seconds - enough to take the shot), then back to zero visibility, and that stillness and silence, with the birds, wombats and quolls for company.

Beautiful scene, Robyn.

thanks David - this was my first trip to the Tarkine, but certainly won't be my last!
