discovering the beauty of the world through photography
Comment by Laura Whiffen on May 16, 2011 at 16:22 I am not one to usually enter my work into competitions, mainly due to the fact I see such completely amazing pieces of work and the words 'i'm not worthy!' stir in my head.
But I thought to give the Epson International Pano Awards a go (wished I'd seen the long list of amazing judges beforehand!) and with four entires this one was 'my' winner...
It scored a mere 80 which I can't be anything more than pleased with as I am sure there are many things I need to learn in the 'pano' arena.
This was several images stitched together with a hand on approach to embedding the one RedBull Air Race pilot gunning through its stages skillfully sweeping through the course in London, wanting to display it as one image.
Perhaps it didn't work...perhaps I should have just left it as a single shot with the capturing it only in one frame...what do you think?
