this is where you can upload an image to share with people and have a challenge with its postproduction. You'll be surprised how many people can interpret the same image in many different ways. It takes a bit of courage as you will essentially be…Continue

This is a very quick slide show featuring the images of workshop and the participants themselves!
Please excuse the speed of the rotations - there was a lot to fit in!

Having just returned from an awesome workshop at Victoria's Great Ocean Road (note the gaggle of photographers shooting feverishly as we are treated to some direct sunlight - lasted just 2 minutes), I thought i would share some observations.
We had a group of 10 participants for the workshop and 2…

Well i must admit I’m surprised at just how many people are sharing, commenting and contributing to the site.
I have let a few people know about it but now friends of friends are joining and I’m seeing images that are amazing, beautiful, challenging and above all REAL!
I think that particularly with award based professional photography images can tend to get a very typical look and feel - we used to call it the APPA filter (Australian Institute…

Howdy friend.
Great website - love it. I have invited some of my landscaping bro's.
:)
Thanks for the welcome Ian. Great idea and good job with setting this site up too! Looks good and it will be interesting to see when it goes when a few more people get on board. I will endevour to fill out a bit more info in the next day or two on my profile and photos :)
Hi Ian, thanks for the welcome. Look forward to getting more images up and seeing others.
cheers Mick
Hi Ian (and Peter!)
Thanks for the welcome! I somewhat hesitated in joining because of the amazing calibre of images and the fact that I am a bit short on time to actually make regular contributions - just started uni and working part-time). However I will scratch around and see what I can find;-)
LOVE the images I have seen so far - absolutely awesome!!
Yes, I will do that soon - just need to get organised. In the mean time can I change my name for the site from David Ross Gee to just David Gee. I put in my full name but did not realise that the Ross was going to stick. Not a problem if it cannot be done, but I prefer not to use my middle name. Thanks a million an I look forward to being involved with the site.
David
Hey Ian....firstly ! what a fabulous site and great images. In my obsessive pursuit of streetart images I've been crazy busy slumming it in the back alleys, derelict buildings & skate parks of the world so I don't have much landscape stuff to share (always the observer). I'm heading to my place in Queenstown in April to photograph the autumn colours around Otago, a few of the local orchards & wineries have given me access to their properties & lakes so with tuition from the great Ian Wallace & Tom Putt under my belt I should have a shot or two that I'm happy to share.
