Please comment on the colurs

Hi fellow members,

I have been missing in action for a while (Vintage time in the winery) but am back on deck now.But I need to ask you all for help!

I have had to change laptops and now have one running Windows 7 (the old one ran XP). I have calibrated the monitor with Spyder4 and darkened down the screen brightness. But I seem to have lost the relationship with the Epson R1900 printer. I now have to adjust brightness/saturation etc and run several test prints to replicate…

King Valley Trip

Hi Folks

I probably had one of my most productive days shooting today. Headed off at 5am for a 2 hour drive to Victoria's King Valley. It was a very frosty start as you will see from the photos uploaded. I found ice patterns in some rock pools under a bridge on the Rose River and went mad. Continued on to Lake Buffalo and the…

The perplexing subject of pricing our work

Hi All

Just seen the lead comment that another member has sold an image from this website exposure.

This raises a question for me and probably more other amateur photographers who would love to get the ultimate compliment of a viewer liking one of our images enough to want to own one:

'How do we price our images?'

Kirwan'sBridgeNagambie

I have found an old wooden bridge over a portion of the Nagambie Lakes. This bridge is now closed to vehicular traffic. It just begs to be photographed but my first attempts are a bit rough. However returned on a misty (read cold) saturday morning and walked up and down the bridge to get these shots. i promise to actually show the bridge soon! OK, if you insist, I will upload the best of an ordinary bunch from my first visit, showing the bridge. But promise you I will get the best out of the…

Hey Neal

Yep that was me.....thanks for the nice comments. They accepted the article months ago but the cover shot was a surprise - I knew they were considering it but didn't know they'd chosen it till I walked into the newsagent.

Beautiful shots in your collection by the way.

Cheers

Bob
